What are body pillows used for?

Can I wash this pillow?
When you do come around to cleaning it, remove the loose wool, place the quilted pillow cover in the washing machine on a wool/delicate cycle at 30 degrees using wool detergent, at a spin speed lower than 800RPM and then line dry. Do not tumble dry.
