Compression Class 1 – 15-21 mmHg

Medical stockings are normally prescribed by specialised physicians.

Class 1 15-21 mmHg provides medium compression, used for venous disease prophylaxis in patients at risk, for the treatment of heavy and tired legs, the appearance of varicose veins during pregnancy, prophylaxis for thrombosis and embolisms.

Compression acts on the ankle and gradually decreases to 70% at the calf, for a correct blood circulation.

IS ESSENTIAL TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE of the garments that patients should wear in order for a correct administration of mmHg. The size shall be chosen according to the ankle circumference and not to the clothing size.

IF THE SIZE IS WRONG, THE DOSAGE WILL BE UNSUITABLE; as a consequence, the result will not be satisfactory.

RECOMMENDATIONS

It is recommended to put on the garments in the morning, before getting out of bed. For proper use, please refer to the diagram on the bottom of the box. For proper effectiveness, use the size chart to select the correct size.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Individuals with severe arterial circulation disorders, recent and deep vein thrombosis, peripheral artery occlusion and dermatosis with secretions are advised to remove the garment before going to sleep.
