It fits all dining chairs
The totseat portable high chair adjusts to fit chairs of all shapes and sizes – tall, short, round, rounded, open backed, or generally just odd.
The totseat attaches securely to the chair, enveloping your little one, a bit like an enormous, safe, nappy (or diaper).
It goes up over your little one’s chest – not just as far as their waist – with the straps coming up under their armpits to fasten behind the baby’s head, so that they can’t wriggle out.
Just button it up to shorten it for smaller chairs, extend it for bigger chairs, and tighten at the back for narrower chairs. Remember to always use the extra strap (provided) if the chair back is open (to avoid your little one slipping through the back).

How to fit the totseat
adjustable Strap
If the chair has a gaping back, use the strap to create a back support. Wrap the strap around the chair, securing with the hook and loop fastener. If the chair is too narrow for the hook and loop to meet, shorten the strap, temporarily, by tying a knot in it. Solid back chairs do not need this strap.
Over the Chair
Slip the totseat over the top of the chair. Chair corners should fit through the holes at the top. Fit the totseat to the chair by tightening the cord toggle at the back of the chair.
Round chair? carefully place the totseat over the back of the chair so that the overhang falls over the back of the chair. Use the elastic on the back of the overhang to secure the totseat to the chair, and adjust for the height of the back chair, as previously.
The fold
Place the totseat over the chair seat with the straps loose. If the chair has a high back, extend the totseat to its full length by unbuttoning it. If the chair has a short back, shorten the totseat using the buttons. As a rough guide, when loose, the fabric should just hang over the front of the seat.
Wrap
Carefully put your little one into the totseat with their back against the chair. Bring the totseat up between their legs, with each leg either side of the fabric, and over their tummy. Take the straps up under their arms and around the back of the chair. Feed the straps through the loops on the back of the totseat and fasten the clasp. Tighten the straps appropriately and tuck in, if loose. Your little one should now be secure and comfortable.
Suitable for a child with Hip Dysplasia
The totseat is ideal for children who are wearing Spica Casts – not just because it’s highly portable so can just be popped into a bag and taken everywhere but because it will safely and securely anchor your little one in any adult chair, wherever you are. Because the totseat works a bit like a giant nappy, in terms of how it works on the chair, it can be fed up through any crossbar (or broomstick) which casts often have – keeping your little one in one spot for more than one minute. Traditional high chairs can be a nightmare for children in spica casts but the totseat means you can just envelop your child into a normal dining chair, without worrying about whether it will fit or not, and whether they will be comfortable. Because you can adjust the totseat around your child, and the chair, it couldn’t be easier.
