The RodiFix AirProtect is a multi-functional, forward-facing child car seat suitable for children from 15 to 36 kg (approx. 3.5 – 12 years) and can be installed with its ISOFIX system in combination with the car’s seat belt. The ISOFIX installation system ensures optimal safety and stability for your child and is quick and easy to install in your car. In addition, ISOFIX prevents the car seat from moving around when not in use. To find out whether your car has ISOFIX, please check the car’s manual or check your car seats for the ISOFIX label or logo. ISOFIX is an internationally standardised car seat fitting system that reduces the risk of installing the seat incorrectly compared to using only seat belts.
As safety is most important, we designed the car seat to ensure maximum protection for your child. In a crash, its AirProtect technology diverts the force of impact away from your child’s head, absorbing it into the headrest. This instantaneously reduces the risk of head injury by 20%. With the additional Side Protection System your child is secured in the safest position during a side collision.
Thanks to the unique belt guide that has indicators where the seat belt should go, this car seat is easy and quick to install even by the child itself. The seat is secured in place using your car’s 3-point seat belt.
As your child grows, the car seat adjusts to your needs accordingly. For optimal comfort we designed its head support so that it can be easily adjusted in height while its backrest can be quickly adjusted in width simultaneously. When it is time for your child to nap while on the road, you simply tilt the booster seat in one of the 2 recline positions by using its easy-to-reach recline mechanism.
You install the car seat with ISOFIX by first removing the headrest from your own car’s seat. Push out the ISOFIX anchorages from the RodiFix AirProtect completely and slide these into the ISOFIX connecters in the seat of your car. The base should click from both connectors, followed by an extra push against the seat. Lastly, you can install the seat belt following the belt guide system and you are ready to go!
