The product comes in paper bags instead of plastic bags which can be recycled with the retail box & leaflet, in your standard paper/card recycling. Our gelli powder has passed the bio-degradation test oecd 301B as tested by intertek. The oecd 301B test adds a product to sewerage, and measures its rate of bio-degradation. Our products are classed as biodegradable according to the standard. Retailers and manufacturers are both guilty of ‘over sizing’ Packaging in an attempt to make a product look better value, which has a substantial effect on the carbon footprint of the product re both excess packaging materials and increased logistics costs.
