The black, white and contrasting colours enhance visual development during the baby’s first months of life. Each single activity has been devised to amuse and stimulate the baby, contributing to positive interaction with parents. Materials with different textures have been chosen to contribute to the newborn’s tactile development; the fabrics and materials are non-toxic and have been carefully tested so children can play in complete safety. Features
A gym with 4 soft overhead archways and rings for attaching their toys. The soft play mat is ideal for baby playtime as infants lie on their backs or tummies (a position which is highly recommended by paediatricians to promote muscular development and prepare for the crawling stage). The illustrations on the play mat narrate a story that the parents will be able to elaborate on and engage the child, using the gym accessories.
The sides of the gym can be turned up for a change of surroundings or to create a cosier playtime area where children feel protected and comfortable in their little pen.
Machine washable on a gentle cycle (30°), the soft toys and play mat are quick and easy to keep clean for high hygiene and safety standards.
The 4 dangling toys promote sensorial development: the hot-air balloon has been made from a variety of fabrics to stimulate infants’ tactile perception.
The plush bird has a squeaky tummy to attract the baby’s attention; this will stimulate infants’ auditory perception and pique their curiosity. The little cloud makes a rustling sound when the baby holds it tight, enhancing manual dexterity and hearing.
